Framework for creating environments that support healthy eating, active play and motor development in educational childcare services
Intended for all people working in educational childcare services, this
framework aims to promote the global development of children under five through a healthy diet, active play and the development of motor skills.
It offers
12 guidelines that, when applied, allow young children to move every day, both indoors and outdoors, to play games allowing them to be physically active and have a variety of fun experiences that are in line with their development stage.
The
guidelines promoted by this
framework also aim to offer meals and snacks of high nutritional quality and to help children discover a variety of foods and develop their tastes, all in the context of a pleasant meal, promoting a healthy relationship with food.
