Reporting acts of bullying

Acts of bullying may be reported to various bodies.

Event-reporting mechanisms are part of each primary and secondary school’s plan to fight bullying and violence.

In other settings, several organizations offer free and confidential information and assistance services to people who experience bullying. Help may be requested from the following organizations:

Emergency services: 9-1-1

Centres d’assistance et d’accompagnement aux plaintes (CAAP) (in French, for users of health and social services institutions):

Crime Victims Assistance Centre (CAVAC) (for anyone who has been victim of a property crime or a crime against the person perpetrated in Québec):

Cybertip!ca (to have an image or a video of a sexual nature of a minor removed from the Internet)

Commission des droits de la personne et des droits de la jeunesse (for anyone who has been a victim of discrimination as defined by the Charter of Human Rights and Freedoms):
